Snowmobiling here will satisfy any riding skill or style. We have had
first timers as well as seasoned riders stay at the home and all have been very
happy. The St. Helens/Ogemaw trail system is located just north of West
Branch. These trails are among the best groomed trails in the State.
Located within minutes of the home is ORV trails
which one can ride their sled to right from the front door. These trails
are not groomed for sleds, and often can get to be 30-40 inches deep of snow.
If "powder and cake" is your riding style, than this is for you. These
narrow trails will challenge the most skilled rider for boondocking fun.
After the river/lake freezes, it becomes a
snowmobiler's dream. If holding the throttle to the bar and blasting
across the lake is your riding style, then this frozen river speedtrack is for
you. Ride right from the front door.
